DIY Bow Necklace

Isn't this necklace adorable?  It makes me feel nerdy and sophisticated.  I tried to put the project step by step with pictures, but it went so fast I forgot to document some of the steps.  Let me know if you need help.  And if you don't have a chain (I used one from a necklace I NEVER wore) you can always use a ribbon!  Happy Crafting!

There isn't anything cuter than KC besides KC wearing a bow and polka dots and that's a fact. We are looooving ascot tops and what perfect timing too  because guess who gets to go shopping in the big city soon? These girls do and we can't wait.

An Easy Re-vamp

I bought this cute swimming suit at Ross for a whopping $13 (HOLLA!) last week.  I love the vintage look of it, plus it's really slimming.  It's not high cut and it's so comfortable.  The only thing I wasn't excited about were the buttons, so I decided to put on new ones.  I was surprised how much it changed the look of the swimming suit... plus the buttons were only a buck!

 

Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can get my tan on in this cute suit!

The Bows

My hair is super curly.  Because of this, I'm sporting a top bun 90% of the time.  It's super easy for me to just throw my hair on top of my head, but sometimes I want to spice my bun up.  I decided to make a few different massive bows to accessorize.
They turned out so cute, and were so easy!  I get compliments on my bows all the time.

Oh praises it's Friday. Things I'm loving besides the Taylor Swift Pandora station currently playing on my phone include maxi dresses/skirts and bracelets, usually many of them. The best thing about wearing my maxi skirt on a Friday is the fact that I feel like I'm wearing pajamas, but still look ok. I mean I think that's how it works right? Although if you were to ask high school Nadia if wearing pajamas and looking great were in the same category she would say "why yes- wear pajamas! In fact, wear them to school everyday and in public. The more people who see your plaid sleepwear the better!" I'm sorry about high school Nadia, so sorry. But my current obsessions are much more wearable in public right? Right. And wearing pretty bracelets with anything looks good in my book.

P.S. This might be a good time for a small confession... I kind of like most teeny bopper things.. Oops! Like Taylor Swift.. I will never give her up. One of my favorite past times is watching the Disney Channel with my sister (in my defense this was at least 2 years ago). I may even have gone to a Jonas Brother's concert after the age of 21! Yikes!
